Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are your products really marble?
A: No. Our products are cultured marble, which is better than real marble. It is made of polyester resin, catalyst, pigment, and calcium carbonate. See our Products page for more.

Q: Do your products match your samples exactly?
A: No, but that is actually a good thing. Because of variations in mixing, materials, and individually poured products, each piece of cultured marble is unique. The fact that no two pieces are exactly the same makes our products closer to the real thing.

Q: When my marble gets dirty, how do I clean it?
A: Your marble can be cleaned with any non-abrasive cleanser and water. Spray-foam products and liquid window or multi-surface cleansers are generally acceptable. The cleansers' label should state "for use on cultured or synthetic marble," or "for use on fiberglass surfaces." Abrasive products such as most powder products (Comet, Ajax) should not be used as they may dull the finish. See more on our Care page.

Q: My marble has a few small scratches in it, what do I do?
A: If desired, these can be reduced by a couple of different methods. One method is to wax your counter with a car paste wax just as you would your car. Rub it on well, allow to dry, and polish with a soft cloth. Another is to polish with toothpaste, as it contains a mild abrasive. 'Gel Gloss,' a product found in most home improvement stores, may also be used.

Q: Where can I buy Marble Arch Products?
A: We sell wholesale only and not directly to the public. Marble Arch Products is available at many retailers including: Lowes home improvement centers, cabinet design and distribution centers, plumbing supply stores, and many lumberyards. If you cannot find a retailer, please contact us to find the retailer nearest you.

Q: How do I install Marble Arch products?
A:
Because this topic is so detailed, we made a page solely for it. Please see our Installation page.

Q: What if I can't find the answer to my question here?
A: If you can't find an answer here, please feel free to Contact Us.

Q: I have run out of order forms, can I get more?
